With over two decades of experience in the legal field, Pedro Couto have acquired a diverse range of skills and expertise in various areas of law.
He has been involved in numerous tasks related to the energy sector, including legal counseling, revisions of laws, drafting and negotiation of agreements, and project development and financing advisory services.
In the Oil and Gas sector, he has provided legal advice on finance documents, regulatory frameworks, and preparation of various financing documents for pipeline projects. He has also been involved in the incorporation of a subsidiary for oil and gas prospecting purposes and provided legal advice to energy companies on negotiations, concessions, and exploration agreements.
Have contributed to legislative processes, such as advising on the drafting of water supply and sanitation laws, drafting the Civil Aviation Law in collaboration with IATA, and providing recommendations on various laws, including Petrol Law, Stamp Duty Code, and Financial Institution Legislation.
