Amalia Lui (ll.b & ll.m) is a practicing Advocate with eleven years’ experience in the legal sector. She was admitted to the Tanzania bar in the year 2011 and has a total of nine years’ experience post admission. She has extensive experience in dealing with complex legal matters including contract drafting and review, legal compliance and licensing, due diligence and project advisory, mergers & acquisitions, competition and restructuring. During her career, she has worked at an international law firm in London and collaborated with international law firms in the UAE, South Africa & France on various projects. In addition, she has done a considerable number of cross border transactions within and outside the EA region. She has good working relationship with numerous government authorities and has reliable contacts. Aside from her experience in the legal sector, she dedicates her spare time in training the youth on career choices and provides legal aid to indigent women in relation to matrimonial and inheritance matters.
