Foundation in Occupational Health and Safety Mozambique 2019

2 Day Practical Course

Is your company up to date with how to identify the hazards and control the risks from your work? Do you know how to consult your employees, or their representatives, on health and safety issues?

Every successful business recognizes that the prevention of accidents and ill health at work is a prime consideration in ensuring optimum productivity, as well as in protecting its brand and reputation. Tragically, hundreds of people are killed every year from workplace accidents with thousands left injured or suffering ill health. As a result, accident prevention and developing a competent health and safety policy should be a key priority for your company.

Managers need to understand the company health and safety policy; where they fit in; and how health and safety should be managed. Employees needs to know how to work safely and without risks to health.

A wide range of structures, skills, knowledge and analytical capacities are needed to coordinate and implement an effective Occupational Health and Safety plan, so that protection is extended to both workers and the environment and ultimately to the business.
